本週的每週一曲-ㄚ胖

這首曲子是大四那年薄啟元引進介紹的,選了這段黑膠唱片的MV,無非是希望情境能稍稍接近歷史一點兒,也希望這繞樑的音樂,能在您的耳際迴盪出一些塵封的記憶。 

”The Last Farewell”（最後的道別）歌詞最大的特色，在於它以簡易的文字,易聽的旋律,傳達出濃濃的故事性，聽者不需太多的想像力即可完成美學經驗，甚至對故事未有過親身經驗的聽者，依然可以在歌曲的流動中感受到歌者誠摯的依戀與不捨，且讓忙碌的你我，拋開曲折的R & B，喋喋不休的Rap，還原出幾分鐘的原始真情，或試聽，或回首，或翦燭西窗,或仰望星辰……𨢁

第一段述說著一艘裝載完成,等待起錨的船隻,即將於明日告別陽光普照的島嶼，駛回多風雨的英格蘭，明日將登板的我心中充滿了淚水。

第二段述說著船隻回英格蘭途中將有戰爭的威脅，敵軍的槍砲聲讓我有即將航向地獄的感覺，雖然死亡不足畏，但這最後的道別卻是如此心酸難捱。

第三段述說即使船隻在海上翻覆，在死亡與黑暗的恐懼中，我的靈魂將循著島上的香味，讓揚起的浪花帶領我再度回到妳身邊，如果我能平安返回英格蘭，我將凝視著英倫的山嵐席捲著山谷（約略是終日淚眼朦朧的意思吧!）

     (註: heaving: 揚升的waves:浪花 ,Thee:you(受格)的古字 ,未來式突然變過去式brought me,表示歌者在船難中已千古,roll :襲捲Dale:山谷；英倫多霧是事實,此處以氣候實境,一語雙關,歌者因為終日淚眼含眶,所以看到的山谷都是霧濛濛的)
