Carlos Santana/Shaman(魔術師)專輯是在2002年發行。 在專輯中最後一曲'Novus'(其想要傳遞和平希望愛的信息)，Santana邀請男高音多明哥 (Plácido Domingo)以幾近清唱方式來唱出他這首創作曲'Novus'。 多明哥的高亢唱功自當不在話下，再搭配Santana的精湛獨奏，顯見到Santana電吉他的包容程度有著更寬廣、可上可下的風貌，其同時也讓此專輯劃下一個完美的驚嘆號。
